Cancun, Q.R. — The seventh edition of the World Forum on Energy Regulation, which will theme Regulation in a moment of innovation, will be held in Cancun March 20 to 23, reported the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
In a statement, the Mexican regulatory body stressed that the issue will focus on the disruptive trends that transform the fundamentals of the energy value chain around the world.
The CRE explained that the international event will showcase the progress of Mexico in the implementation of a comprehensive energy reform.
Mexico will serve as a perfect scenario to foster a global dialogue on how to adapt quickly and efficiently to the changing reality of the energy sector, the body said.
They explained that the event includes more than 20 activities such as lectures and plenary sessions, making it a unique opportunity to hear some of the most relevant voices in the global energy industry.
The CRE received the honor of hosting the VII WFER thanks to the support of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulators (ARIAE).
