Cancun, Q.R. — A 10 year old child was rushed to Cancun hospital early Friday morning after falling four floors from an apartment. The boy, Leonel N, accidentally flew out of a window while jumping on a bed.
Paramedics rushed to the scene in SM 107 where they found the child laying on the concrete below. Several neighbors made the report to emergency services after seeing the boy laying on the ground and unable to breath.
He was transferred from the Paraiso Maya apartment complex and admitted to Cancun hospital with serious head trauma.
The case has since been turned over to GEAVI, the Specialized Group for Attention to Victims of Family and Gender Violence to investigate how the boy fell out of the window.
