Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The body of a woman has been found in undergrowth along the side of the Playa-Tulum highway.
People out for a walk found the badly decomposed body of a woman authorities say, had been lying in the brush for about 10 days. The woman’s body was found lying next to a motorcycle.
The body was discovered in the undergrowth at kilometer 279 of the Playa del Carmen-Tulum highway, between Calica and Punta Venado.
Police say unofficially, the likely cause of death was the woman being hit by a vehicle while on her moto.
