Bacalar, Q.R. — Children from the southern region of Bacalar in the state have been chosen to have their artwork displayed in France.
The artwork project is from the community of Pedro A. de los Santos, where the artwork of the children was chosen to be part of an exhibition in France in October.
Francois Escarpit of the France exhibition said that the children will have their project El Maíz on display at the Espace Saint Rémi de Bordeaux in France from October 22 to November 14.
He said the goal of the project was to create a link between Latin America and France.
Their teacher, Yasmin Pineda, said that these children have previously won awards for their artwork and that it is with pride that they have been chosen to be exhibited abroad.
Other artists from Mexico, as well as other countries, are also participating in the exhibition.
