Juan Carlos Aldana Salazar, from the State of Mexico, was appointed as the new head of the General Deputy State Prosecutor’s Office, replacing Rosaura Villanueva Arzápalo. Mexico City, Mexico — A total of 61 people have been reported as the new death toll figure after an 8.2 earthquake hit Mexico’s Pacific Thursday night. Cancun, Q.R. — Part of a new hotel being constructed along the coast of Isla Mujeres collapsed Tuesday, injuring 14 and killing one. Scaffolding for the new Palladium hotel that is being built on the coast of Isla Blanca fell yesterday, leaving a total of 15 crew members injured.
