Another Colombian believed related to loansharking shot in Cancun suburb

Cancun, Q.R. — For the second time this week, a Colombian man believed related to loansharking has been found shot. This latest shooting happened in SM 243 of the city on Friday.

It was just after 5:30 p.m. when authorities were notified of the shooting when neighbors reported the sound of gunfire. Responding officers arrived at a private residence to find the man had been shot in his lower back.

He was transferred to hospital. His condition remains unknown.

On August 2, the body of a Colombian man allegedly involved in loansharking was found dead on a dirt road in a Cancun suburb. He had been shot to death.
