Playa del Carmen, Q.R. – The city’s annual Ecomarket is scheduled to take place August 29 at the Riviera University.
This year’s theme will be meditation by Idea Mantra, with instructional sessions available for everyone who attends.
Clara Guillén War, of the Ecomarket said, “The mediation session will be from approximately 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, more or less (…) we will also have music and eco workshops for children.”
The goal of the Ecomarket is to support the university as well as promote the local consumption of healthy organic products that are made with low impact to the environment.
“Exhibitors are from Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Tulum and Playa del Carmen,” said Guillén War.
The Ecomarket will be held at the Riviera University, located at 58 Avenue North, block 168, right on the road that leads to the division of Villas del Sol next to Real Ibiza.
“It is just five kilometers from the center. People can share a cab or get a car or go by bike. The idea is that it is a sustainable event so people become conscious of reducing pollutants generated when using a motor vehicle,” she said.
Admission to the Ecomarket is free. It starts at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 4:00 p.m. For more information or to register to be part of the market, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
