Playa del Carmen, Q. R. – Nearly every community in Playa del Carmen will experience a temporary water shut-off in July as the city’s medium grid electricity sources undergo maintenance.
Aguakan has issued a statement informing residents of Playa del Carmen that on Tuesday July 14, several large sections of the city will undergo electrical maintenance.
On both days, water will be shut-off from 5:00 a.m. until approximately 17:00 p.m.
On July 14, affected communities will include:
Aviation, Playacar, Gonzalo Guerrero, Zazil-Ha-Ha Xama, El Encuentro, El Encanto, La Joya, Bellavista, Ejidal, Colosio, Nicte-Ha, Enlargement Bellavista, Blacksmiths, South Ejido, Ejido Norte and Founders as well as 28 de julio, Toho-ku, Quintas del Carmen, ocelot, Campestre, La Joya, Bamboo, Bali, In House I and II, Palmas I and II, Mission Flowers , CADU, Villas del Sol Villas del Carmen, Real Ibiza, Natura-Viveica, Nova Forest, Punta Estrella, galaxies Carmen I and II, Santa Fe, Royal Forest, Pathfinders, World Habitat Mission del Carmen, Los Olivos, Parque Residential, Catalunia I and II, Tumbenchilam, Bali, Villamar I and II, Tuscany, Joya Real, Reef, Villa Maya, Guadalupana I and II, Petén, Villas Riviera, Encuentro, Playa Azul, Playa Sol, Playa Magna, Balam Tun, privanza del Mar, Lol Tun, Tun Lolka, Marbella, Heaven, and Jungle Mar.
Aguakan is encouraging people to stock up on water supplies prior to the cut-off by filling empty containers and filling water tanks. They also advise people use their water reservations sparingly during this time.
