Cancun, Q.R. – Grupo Aeroméxico and Delta Airlines are adding new US-Mexico travel options as they implement a new Joint Cooperation Agreement.
The duo will be expanding travel services for flyers between the US and Mexico. Subject to government approval, this Fall, the airlines will begin five new market flights, add frequency in four markets and upgraded aircraft in two markets.
Under the new agreement, one of the immediate benefits will be a 10 percent increase in transborder seat capacity by the end of the year.

Between the airlines, new markets will be offered for Atlanta and Merida, Mexico, Atlanta and Queretaro, Mexico, Los Angeles and Leon, Mexico, Seattle and Mexico City, Portland, Oregon and Mexico City.
Expanded markets in currently served areas will include a second daily flight between Los Angeles and Los Cabos, Mexico, a second daily flight between Atlanta and Leon, Mexico, a second daily flight between Atlanta and Guadalajara, Mexico and a third daily flight between New York-JFK and Cancun.
