A continuation of warm days and cool nights for region

National Meteorological Service reports that a low-pressure channel continues along the surface of the southern portions of the Gulf of Mexico and the western portion of the Yucatan Peninsula.

In its wide peripheral circulation, it is driving tropical maritime air with variable content of humidity from the Caribbean Sea toward the peninsula. In turn this is causing warm to hot temperatures during the day and cool temperatures at night and into the early morning hours.
