A continuation of hot, tropical air for much of Quintana Roo

A low pressure channel located on the surface of the southern portion of the Gulf of Mexico is bringing with it Tropical Maritime Air.

This air is driving moderate moisture from the Caribbean Sea to the Yucatan Peninsula and is causing hot weather, cloudiness and scattered showers with isolated showers accompanied by electrical activity in the state of Quintana Roo.

This tropical wave is located at surface of the Yucatan Peninsula and Guatemala, slowly moving west / northwest. It is causing clouds and showers with isolated showers accompanied by electrical activity. The National Hurricane Center in Miami reports that this influence does not have favorable conditions to develop into a tropical system.
